mysql不能启动的问题
我的mysql3.23在rhel as 3上一启动/etc/init.d/mysqld start就说:
Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /var/lib/mysql
040206 10:58:09 mysqld ended
err文件中说：A mysqld process already exists at Fri Feb 6 10:25:22 CST 2004
但是我查进程又没有mysql相关进程，而且如不我不/etc/init.d/mysqld start就直接执行mysql命令就会说找不到sock文件。这不是就说明没有启动服务器呢？
但是为什么我要启动又说已经有一个进程了呢？

I am in rhel as 3 now, i applied that patch, finaly mysql works. Thx alooooooooooot!!!!!!!!
Sorry but i cannot use chinese now.
One more question, how can i maitian the english GUI and let the system support CHN? just like windows 2000, xp, i can use the english user interface as it supports chinese as well.
