But there isn't the newest version in rh7.2's setup CD.

I think the Squid/2.4.STABLE7 is nice.
Maybe u also need a google search...for squid.
If u only need let all of clients can use their browser to view the webpages,U only need ensure u did the right config for this file /etc/squid/squid.conf
*** If U want a translation Proxy
*** U maybe need let the proxy forward the package for the clients.
In rh 7.2 u can use ipchain or use iptables.
For rh8.0 iptables is (default)
Before u do this step,u must ensure u chose the right choices when u compile ur kernel.
for rh's Linux u need ensure u setup the network server's choices,( el .route,ipforward...)
If u finish these step,U need read some documents for iptables/ipchains.
Of course u can do another search for squid + iptables or squid + ipchains
U can search lots of documents for this.
